Heating Services.

We do it right, the first time.

Installation.

When it comes to heating your home – you’ve got options. And unless you’re a seasoned pro, understanding how to choose between a heat pump or a furnace can feel overwhelming. Not to worry, we will guide you through the process and get you to the right answer based on your preferences and the specific needs of your home.

Regardless of your heating equipment choice (heat pump or furnace), an excellent installation requires two key parts: first, is the proper sizing of your heating unit(s), air flow runs, ducts, and the proper sizing and placement of your air flow returns. To accomplish proper sizing, we use the industry leading heat load calculation. The load calculation program considers the thermal load placed on your home in relation to its orientation and position, the type of windows and amount of sun exposure, the type of building materials of which your home is constructed, and the square footage of rooms and the home and the habits of your family.

The second part of an excellent installation involves the use of high quality parts, custom ducts, and the actual installation of the components by experienced HVAC personnel. Not all installers are the same. At Wimpy’s, we do it right, the first time. We welcome you to inspect every piece of our work. We guarantee you will be pleased.

Maintenance.

With proper maintenance, both gas-fired furnaces and heat pumps will last a good long while, usually 15 to 20 years or more. However, if you find your heat is what you think it should be, give us a call. We work on all brands and we know our stuff. We will tell you exactly what we plan to do and exactly what it will cost before we start. If we get in and discover a significant “repair” is needed to improve your heating performance, we will provide you with an estimate of the cost to perform the repair and obtain your authorization before proceeding..
