Yep, that’s the “A” Team. Starting from the left: you have Andy, Mr. Wimpy, Arnulfo and Roberto. Mr. Wimpy and Andy are father and son, and between them, you have over 90 years of refrigeration, heating and air conditioning experience. Arnulfo and Roberto are like family as well and have been with Wimpy’s for the last four years. Although not pictured, the heart of the operation is Ms. Margaret, who happens to be Andy’s mom and Mr. Wimpy’s wife. It truly is a family business and they are awesome,

Replacing Existing Split Unit with Heatpump Package in New Mobile Home

Rooftop Changeout (replacement) for Peking Wok Restaurant in Rockingham, NC
There she is....the Peking Wok in Rockingham, NC. The old unit that will be replaced sits on the roof and we will need a crane to get the job done.

Old unit is safely on the ground (forefront of photo). Now we need to lift and place the curbing (this is what the new unit will set on top of) and then the new unit.

Beginning the changeout (replacement) of the old unit and duct work.

Featured Recent Project - October 2020:
Relocation of an existing unit from a wet, low lying area prone to flooding.
The project was in a low lying area prone to flooding. You can see how the water pools.
The original unit sat on the ground next to this gas meter. The gas meter was actually buried under dirt due to flooding. This is the meter after we dug it out. We have also relocated the old unit and sealed the hole.
We then raised the meter and the gas pipe, pressure tested the pipe, had it inspected by the gas company, and sealed everything up.
We relocated the unit around the corner of the house. We went through and above the wall with the new duct system to ensure no water or moisture would enter.
We also raised the unit 24 inches off the ground and set it on a new platform, Then we boxed in the ducts with metal.
This is where we sealed the hole from the original unit.
Here we are fiber-sealing the boxing to prevent rusting and sealing it to the wall to prevent rain entry.
